Meet the founder

Hello, I’m so happy you’re here! My name is Tracy Born, and I seem to have a knack for attracting beautiful homeless books that cry out to be rescued. I have recently retired from homeschooling, and I have decided to make my “book rescuing hobby” a full time endeavor.  Many of these “rescues” are books that I searched for when home educating. I love to search for hard to find gems anywhere that I can find them, at estate sales, thrift shops, flea markets, and online.  Many are out of print, and many are from older school libraries that have closed their doors forever. They are truly treasures. 
I am a Christian, and I believe that the Bible is THE living book:) I am also the wife of a wonderful truck driver, a mom to three great kids (two married and all grown up, one sweet girl still at home with us), and a Grandma to two sweet grandbabies! I love to read aloud, and you will find me weekly, at my daughter’s school, reading aloud to the k-3rd grade children. I am currently working on publishing a Bible book series for children, which eventually will be linked here as well!
